We are looking to hire a diverse, representative group of people who embody the intentions behind this tradition, and can translate them into productive work. More specifically, we are looking for:

Counter Servers No restaurant experience required - just street smarts and passion. If you apply those traits well you may find yourself, in a few months, in a position of responsibility as we also need to hire Bakery Managers and Assistant Managers. Bakery Managers and Assistant Managers The people we are looking for bring a mix of front of house and kitchen experience to the table. They have the empathy to work with a smart staff and they understand how to listen to and truly serve customers.

We want to build a team of smart, interesting and ambitious people – just like you. We know most of you have many alternatives for where to work, and how to earn money, and Grand Plans (or plans to make grand plans) for your life. So we have created a new way of working – more than just a set of benefits.

Every counter server, baker or kitchen staff person may now feed one visiting friend per shift for free. The maximum amount of the Feed a Friend (per shift) is $15. The offer has a one drink maximum as well. The friend can take the food to go or eat in store.

We want to know about your hopes and aspirations. We know a lot of people in town. Eltana owners are politicians, scientists, venture capitalists, CEOs and doctors. We would be happy to make introductions for those of you wanting to network to advance your careers.

Eltana has many challenging and interesting projects to tackle. Some of these involve menu development, website design, e-commerce, catering programs, community outreach and more. We want to find a project that will interest you, challenge your mind and provide you with a valuable and rewarding experience, and deeper insight into Eltana's plans to build an important company. Also, you get to earn good money while using more of your burgeoning skills. These projects pay a minimum of $30 an hour.

Work at Eltana for 9 months or longer and when you leave to pursue your next adventure we will issue you $50 a month food credit every month for a year
